Managing Director’s Profile

Innocent Mthembu is a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant. He possesses BCom and BCom Honours in accounting both from University of Johannesburg. He completed his articles at Deloitte’s Johannesburg Office within the Financial Institutions Services Team (FIST). Some of his big clients as an audit trainee included First National Bank and Nedbank Limited.

He also led teams and Audit Senior in these audit jobs. Post qualifying, Innocent has held various positions including being Senior Consultant, Audit Manager and Senior Lecturer. He has served on Boards of Directors. Innocent is a corporate governance expert having consulted and lectured in this field for over eight years at different tertiary institutions. Innocent is currently completing his MBA with MANCOSA.

Innocent is passionate about development of small business and believes strongly in giving small businesses a chance and support to participate in the mainstream economy. He believes that human capability of any individual is beyond measure and all that people deserve is a chance. On his spare time Innocent loves to spend time with his family and reads about politics, sport and world economy.

Assurance Services Director

Thembelani is a director of the company. He graduated from University of Johannesburg with B Com Accounting and University of South Africa with Hons BCompt. He served his articles at SizweNtsalubaGobodo in Johannesburg and qualified as a charted accountant. Thembelani then worked at SizweNtsalubaGobodo as an audit manager and later moved to Ernst and Young as an audit manager. Thembelani is currently registered with SAICA as a Chartered Accountant and Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors as a Registered Audit and also registered with SARS as a Tax Practitioner. Thembelani has extensive experience and interest in accounting, auditing, taxation and consulting.

Public Sector Leader

Thokozani is a charted accountant by profession. He has extensive experience in the public and private sector, and his experience speaks volumes:
• Standard Bank: Manager responsible for forecasting and budgeting for personal and business banking division of the bank.
• Auditor General of South Africa (AGSA): Audit Manager for Mpumalanga Business Unit. His portfolio included, Thaba Nchweu LM, eMalahleni LM, Emakhazeni LM, Ehlanzeni DM, Mpumalanga Department: Agriculture, Rural Development, Land and Environmental Affairs, Mpumalanga Treasury and Mpumalanga Economic Growth Agency (MEGA). He also served as the chairperson of the Managers Forum for AGSA Mpumalanga Business Unit.
• He is a qualified assessor for Chartered Accountants’ training and development programme.

Thokozani has served as an independent non-executive director for MEGA. He is currently the deputy chairperson for the Association for Advancement of Black Accountants in Southern Africa (ABASA) Mpumalanga Branch and he also serves on the national board for ABASA. Further, he serves as a member of the Audit Committee at Govan Mbeki Local Municipality.
Thokozani has also served on the steering committee of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) for Public Sector Financial Reporting Project.
Thokozani is a founding member and the managing director of TRT Accounting Solution Inc. – an accountancy consulting firm which has serviced clients in diverse sectors of the economy, including mining, construction, property development, agriculture and agro processing.
